Job Description

Apex Mechanical Services is a Southern California based mechanical contractor. We focus on large tonnage equipment and service all aspects of comfort control for commercial HVAC needs throughout Los Angeles and the surrounding area. As an HVAC technician, you will be responsible for performing corrective repairs, preventative maintenance and diagnostics on a variety of commercial equipment, and complete necessary paperwork associated with such duties.

 

Skills

• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Welding, brazing, and soldering skills
• Must be able to work well with other technicians and tradesmen
• Must possess excellent time management skills and be able to handle multiple tasks and daily commute
• Must be able to properly diagnose electrical controls and motor control centers
• Must be able to understand and utilize diagrams to property troubleshoot HVAC systems
• Chiller service and chiller overhaul experience a PLUS!

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in commercial HVAC
• Universal Refrigeration Licenses
• EPA R410A certification (any other certifications a plus)
• Valid CA Driver's License and insurable driving record
• A DESIRE TO LEARN AND GROW IN THE HVAC INDUSTRY!
